This is it!!! I MUST have this car!! I'm not the type that goes out and gets all fired up about every new material thing that comes out, but this is such a beautiful car, that I decided it's time for me to get fired up about something, and this is DEFINITELY it!!!

Actually, the above image (the one that I originally fell in love with!!) is a picture of the 986 prototype, and the production model (shown below) will have some slight changes to it. The main differences are the position of the rear air intake, which has been moved up in order to avoid road spray and "noise". Also, the air intakes on the front end have apparently been modified.

I'm excited to report that I reserved my spot in line (San Diego #33) for the Boxster, when it's released for the US in about November. Paying for it might be another issue, but whatever it takes, I WILL make it happen, and it'll be worth it!!!

I've seen a couple other images at the local Porsche dealer, but wasn't able to get my hands on them, and haven't come across them on the 'net (yet!!). When I do, I'll put them up, so check back again soon!!!
